Last updated: June 19, 2026
By downloading, accessing, or using FiClue (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

Description of Service
FiClue is a personal finance application that allows you to:
- Connect bank and financial accounts via Plaid to track transactions
- Create and monitor budgets
- Track net worth (assets and liabilities)
- View upcoming recurring bills and receive optional reminder notifications
- Subscribe to premium features via in-app purchase
FiClue is a tool to help you organize and understand your finances. It does not provide financial, investment, tax, or legal advice.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, to use FiClue. By using the App, you represent that you meet this requirement.
Account Registration
To use FiClue, you must create an account with a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, all activity that occurs under your account, and notifying us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account.
Linking Financial Accounts
FiClue uses Plaid Inc. to connect to your financial institutions. By linking an account, you authorize FiClue, through Plaid, to access and retrieve your account and transaction information for the purpose of providing the App's features.
You are solely responsible for the accuracy of any financial decisions you make based on information displayed in the App. FiClue is not a financial institution and does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of data retrieved from linked accounts, as this data is dependent on third-party providers (Plaid and your financial institutions).
Subscriptions and Payments
Certain features of FiClue may require a paid subscription, processed through the Apple App Store and managed via RevenueCat.
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription through your Apple ID account settings.
- Refunds are subject to Apple's App Store refund policies; we do not directly process refunds.
- Prices are subject to change with reasonable advance notice.

You agree not to:
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App's systems or other users' data
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App

Disclaimer of Warranties
FiClue is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free; that financial data displayed will always be accurate, complete, or up to date; or that any errors will be corrected.
FiClue is not a substitute for professional financial, tax, or legal advice. Always consult a qualified professional before making financial decisions.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, FiClue and its developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or financial losses, arising from your use of or inability to use the App.
Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to FiClue at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.
You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time.
