By downloading, accessing, or using FiClue (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

FiClue is operated by an individual developer. Questions about these Terms can be sent to support@ficlue.com.

Description of Service

FiClue is a personal finance application that allows you to:

FiClue is a tool to help you organize and understand your finances. It does not provide financial, investment, tax, or legal advice.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, to use FiClue. By using the App, you represent that you meet this requirement.

Account Registration

To use FiClue, you must create an account with a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, all activity that occurs under your account, and notifying us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account.

Linking Financial Accounts

FiClue uses Plaid Inc. to connect to your financial institutions. By linking an account, you authorize FiClue, through Plaid, to access and retrieve your account and transaction information for the purpose of providing the App's features.

You are solely responsible for the accuracy of any financial decisions you make based on information displayed in the App. FiClue is not a financial institution and does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of data retrieved from linked accounts, as this data is dependent on third-party providers (Plaid and your financial institutions).

Subscriptions and Payments

Certain features of FiClue may require a paid subscription, processed through the Apple App Store and managed via RevenueCat.

FiClue is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free; that financial data displayed will always be accurate, complete, or up to date; or that any errors will be corrected.

FiClue is not a substitute for professional financial, tax, or legal advice. Always consult a qualified professional before making financial decisions.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FiClue and its developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or financial losses, arising from your use of or inability to use the App.

Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

Third-Party Services

FiClue relies on third-party services including Plaid, Supabase, RevenueCat, and Apple. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or practices of these third parties. Your use of linked financial institutions is also subject to those institutions' own terms.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to FiClue at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time.

Changes to the Service

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the App at any time, with or without notice. We are not liable for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the App.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the App or via email. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles, unless otherwise required by your local jurisdiction's consumer protection laws.
